My work is inspired by and is about life, its difficulties and its beauty. I try to make the figures in my paintings display their emotions and to give the viewer a sense of mood and feeling. I use my paintings to express my feelings toward nature, people, and their interconnection with each other.

Nature always leaves an impression on me. The smallest beautiful piece of nature gives me inspiration to create a new composition. It gives me something to lean against and dictates what I do. The rest I build on my canvases.

For decades my art has continually evolved in ways that allow me to complete my paintings to my satisfaction. Just as the Renaissance masters expressed their feelings through Classical art I try to express my feelings through my own method and style of art that I have been working on my entire life.
